US Paintball League

This year marks a turning point in tournament Paintball where history repeats itself. The US Paintball League is proud to announce a Team and Player owned league. With the same intentions of the 1992 original founders of the NPPL, the US Paintball League's main goals are to provide and promote paintball tournaments with the highest standards.

It is our intention with player support and input to shape the future of tournament paintball and grow our sport from the ground up. This grass roots approach will enable us together with teams, fields and industry leaders to give the players an incredible stage in which to compete on.

We will start this 2009 season on the beach in Huntington Beach Ca. April 3rd through 5th and begin a 6 event season giving teams options to compete for three titles. Teams can win an East and West Coast Conference Title and or the National Title.

Player Committees have been formed to discuss and make changes to rules, schedules, field designs, formats, fees and general event structure. We are also working on a dynamic marketing program to give exposure to teams and players at all levels. Some of the changes already in place are lower entry fees, higher prize packages, a new Pro/Am program to assist lower divisional teams, new schedule and an expert management team focused on the players' needs and maintaining a realistic balanced budget.
